What is the best thing that I love about my work? I love art and painting creatures. I believe I travel to other worlds with my imagination and bringing those worlds to life is my passion.
What is my idea of perfect happiness? The idea of perfect happiness is ever changing and intangible, for me. I don’t think I will ever be completely satisfied and will always desire to grow and hope to change and evolve always.
What is my greatest fear? Oooh my deepest darkest secret! Being abandoned.
What is the trait that I most deplore in myself? My temper, lol.
Which living persons in my profession do i most admire? So many great artists, I’ll name some of my favs; Margaret Keane, James jean, Mark Ryden.
What is my greatest extravagance? Vermillion and lápiz lazuli pigment, and Chanel no.5 perfume.
On what occasion would I lie? I guess it depends on how deep the lie goes to answer the question properly!
What is the thing that I dislike the most in my work? I dislike my imperfectness, but strive to be better on my technique, always. I’m very hard on myself, and beat myself up a lot I have to take a step back from my thoughts to get my focus on.
When and where was I the happiest, in my work? I was the happiest in high school, I think.
If I could, what would I change about myself? I would change my eye color to purple. And not be so hard on myself.
What is my greatest achievement in work? I believe my greatest achievement in work is my book A World Within a World. And to persist in working and doing what I love which is making art full time.
Where would I most like to live? Malta or Sedona.
What is my most treasured possession? My journals from when I was a child.
What is my most marked characteristic? My attention to detail, persistence, and a can’t stop won’t stop attitude. Like the song lyrics “Can’t stop won’t stop …get it get it “ by Chingy.
What is my most inspirational location, in my city? I love the Angeles Crest Forest in Los Angeles. It’s the mountains I love the most.
What is my favourite place to eat and drink, in my city? I love Little Pine, definitely my favorite restaurant owned by Moby who is an avid vegan .
What books influenced my life and how? Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, and Through the Looking Glass, inspired me greatly as a child. And inspired the mystery of symbolism. In children’s literature: A Wrinkle in Time, the Nancy Drew detective novels, anything in the library about time travel, or fantasy or magic.
Who are my favorite writers? Emily Dickinson was my favorite poet as a child, she influenced me a lot with her poem You Only Die Once.
What music would I listen on my last day? I love music! So many great songs I would definetly create a playlist. Beethoven’s 5th symphony or maybe Lady in Red. Call me an 80’s romance fanatic, and all of the Cure’s greatest hits.
Who is my hero or heroine in fiction? I love Hermione Granger, Alice from Alice in Wonderland and Nancy Drew the amateur detective, I love a good secret.
Who are my heroes and heroines in real life? Clarisa Pinkola Estes writer of Women Who Run with the Wolves is definitely a heroine of mine. Beethoven was always my hero as a young child, I would listen to his 5th symphony and 9th symphony and pretend to be in a space ship.
Which movie would i recommend to see once in a lifetime? So many good movies! Like Water for Chocolate, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Talk to Her by Pedro Almodóvar , All About My Mother by Pedro Almodóvar, I’m a huge fan of all his movies. The 80’s version of Alice in Wonderland is awesome. Mi Familia with Jimmy Smits and JLo, Joy Luck Club, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Immortal Beloved, the story of Beethoven.
What role plays art in my life and work? Art is my everything!
Who is my greatest fan, sponsor, partner in crime? Andrew Dabb my husband and best friend.
Whom would I like to work with in 2018? Cory Helford. I love her gallery here in LA.

What project, in 2018, am I looking forward to work on? I’m looking forward to working on some new paintings for The Hive Gallery.
Where can you see me or my work in 2018? I am a permanent resident at The Hive Gallery and Studios in down town Los Angeles.
What do the words “Passion Never Retires” mean to me? It’s like one of my favorite songs I mentioned earlier which I call my motto, can’t stop won’t stop. I feel this describes me to a T. I am very much passionate about art, and my work and I just can’t stop just won’t stop until I take my last breath, I will work on my art and poem stories.
Which creative heroines should Peter invite to tell their story? Jennifer Ilene Perry, an amazing photographer, artist and filmmaker who I love. And Pam Molina (Sazha Gazova), an incredible pop surrealist artist.
